It looks like the whole thing is an MC which has a GOTO FRAME statement
linked to the x-position of the mouse. You could do this with a two frame
loop, a transparent MC which is locked to the mouse, and a combination of
GET PROPERTY (x of draggable MC) and an IF statement.

IF get property(x_, DRAGGABLE MC) > 250
Tell Target (/SCROLLING PICTURE)
GOTO and stop 50
etc...etc

You could also make the SCROLLING MC a really long clip and control it with
SET PROPERTY(x position of DRAGGABLE MC).

just been surfing and came across this cool (aesthetically anyway) site
which I thought might interest you, although I know it has some similairity
to Barney's.com I wonder if any of you have guidance as to how one would
start to create such a nice effect such as the scrolling through images and
navigation???? In fact, if you know you peanuts give me clue, how to create
the whole site!!!!!!

thanks for any guidance you could me as I now have a client drawling at the
mouth for such a monster and yet I am uncetain as to where to start
obviously action scripting is the key with I guess mouse co-ordinates or
detection but as a designer I need some help from those greater than me. Any
help sites tutorials....anything that shows the method for this type of
effect would be greatfully recieved,
