FLASH: Loaded swfs that do not function the same-HELP!

Hi,

I'm currently having some issues with loaded swfs.

The problem I'm currently having is that when I load a swf into my movie 

none of the tell target actions work within the loaded  swf  It's the 

strangest thing I have seen flash do, but then again it is flash...

Anyhow the swf when I play it alone works perfectly fine but when loading 

into another movie none of the tell targets within it work. I'm targeting 

the swf into a movie clip. I have no idea why it would do this, I know that 

loading a swf into and existing movie causes the loaded swf to take on some 

of the properties of the existing movie but I thought that tell-targetting 

would be ok.

If anyone has any idea I would greatly appreciate it.Thanks
