Personally I am not a fan of the popup then again I think it depends on your
target audience and as you guess what the typical screen resolution is.

Not easy at all but I have to admit everytime I resorted to the popup I end
up getting burned by complaints.

I say go to the frameset unless the popup seems like "The thing to do"
