Hi I want to assign an action (a movie clip) to a button. So that when the
button is moused over, an action will perform independant of the rest of the
movie that is running.

Right now I have a button that is the letter 'A'. I have edited the button
and added an additional layer and key frame to the 'over' state. On that
over state I have added a short movieclip of the letter flying away called
'A clip' . when i mouse over the button, a little box appears in the middle
of the original button instead of the animation. Anyone do anything like
this ? Is there a good tutorial of this method. I have noticed the technique
in the animated button (first button) in the library that comes with Flash.

TIA
