Chessie, hi.
For button actions of any kind (GetURL and anything else...) you do NOT put
the actions on the keyframes of the button. Back up one. Double-click on
the instance of the button and on the "Instance Properties" box that pops up
there will be an "Actions" tab. Click on that. There is where you put your
button actions. You must do so for each instance of your button, that way
you can use the same "button symbol" to do many tasks.
Also note (I think someone said this) it is window _blank that you want when
you want to open a new window with your new page, otherwise _self will open
in the same window your movie is in (& replace it with your new html
content) and, unless you are dealing with variables to and from other movies
or files or a database, you leave the "variables" at the default "Don't
send"
HTH. If it is not understandable to you, just ask & I will send you a small
sample offline!
