This is something that I can't stress enough. Far too many are openly
embracing a trend in software development that (IMO) is bad for design, and
bad for bandwidth -- "Let's click a button, then call it finished." I a
general sense, this is the point on which I agreed with John last week (Can
you believe it? Twice in one week!), regarding LiveMotion raster
output/production. I realize that I am probably exptrapolating John's
comments a little here, but he can call me on this if I've gone too far.

There is a point where a judicious mix of technology and manual effort, or
time spent optimizing and beautifying, produce a far superior product to
either one or the other means strictly by itself. Automation in
moderation, accompanied by the human touch (giving it "the ol' eye"
so-to-speak)... This seems to be where/when you see the best work done in
Flash 3-D.
