Subject: FLASH: OT South American members? was OT Financial Translations
From: Cheri Harder

OK, thanks to JGL I got a financial calculator that works in ASP with a bit
of JavaScript help (or the other way around....) and I have one that works
in Flash. (perfunctory mention of Flash... :0)

My question now is... the client is leading me to believe that the S.
American countries use a TDM rate (a monthly rate of some kind) instead of
an APR rate? Can anybody verify that? I have no idea of where to find out
for sure and I don't want to have to re-write the whole calculator when I
find out that the numbers they will be entering from the financial
institution will be monthly rates of some kind, instead of the APR...

I really am usually pretty good at looking things up on the internet, but
have given this question several hours and I may have seen the answer, but I
cannot read Spanish well enough to know. (pouting here. jajaja)
