If you want to do a simple line erasing a picture, just create a box that is
the some color as the backround, and make the color of the stroke the color
you want the line. Then put the box on a layer above the image you want to
cover. Do a motion tween to move the box and you have a simple as well and
efficient way to do it.

Maybe this is a newbie question, but what I want to know is, how do they get
objects to move according to mouse movements?
