It's much better to look at FLAs. They will let you see
all kinds of things that an SWF will not. And, I have
yet to see an effect online that isn't covered in some
open FLA downloadable from any tutorial site.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but SWFs
are protected against import for a reason. Subverting
that is against the artist's intention of the file.
