Band-In-A-Box might be a good way to go, if you have a decent soundcard.
For 89$ you get software that you can create music motifs out of that you
can make into .WAV files for use in your Flash presentations. And if you
have a musical bent, you might be able to eke more out of the program.
Some music purists don't necessarily like BIAB's assembly-line process of
making music, but it might be the very thing you need.
No, I've never used it.
