Actually, Macromedia usually releases full updates in 9-12 month cycles.
Flash is due soon as it has been out a year. You should probably hold off
for a few weeks and see if there are any announcements. MM was demoing Flash
5 (alphas) a couple months ago so I'd expect to see it soon.
BTW - if you buy Flash 4 and MM announces Flash 5 within a month or so, you
are usually entitled to a free upgrade.

Flash 4 has only been out about a year. I would say that is will close to
another year before the next one is released. Not to mention the fact that
macromedias upgrades are very well priced. It's not a big investment to
upgrade.

When is F5 available to buy ?

Just bought a PC and need to buy Flash for it (Mac only so far) and I'd hate
to buy F4 at full whack and then pay extra for the upgrade a month or so
later.

Any ideas ??
