I also recommend a movie/movie clip diagram with the name of each movie
clip and its Instance name. This really helps me keep track of where
everything is nested and how the movie is organized. I've learned a lot
about better and more logical ways to structure projects by keeping this
kind of diagram up to date, along with my notes. I also use Fast to store
all my scripts from a project and I always put a comment at the start of
each script telling me what MC it is in and what frame or button it is in.
between notes, Fast project script print outs and the diagram it is easier
to find problems and come back to a project later and jump right in
productively.
I can put together a diagram and put it up for download if anyone would
find that helpful?
