You know, adobe has a pretty straightforward download page for the acrobat
reader . . .
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
It's got that steps 1,2 & 3 thing also. The steps seem to be in correct
order though. But mainly there is no advertising or "When you are finished
go to adobe.com" :)
When downloading, this is the screen they get:
http://cgim.adobe.com/acrobat/reader15/download.cgi
Warning: the above url will prompt you to download the Acrobat Reader. If
you don't want it - just cancel.
Yes there are ads there to but it doesn't say "When you are finished go to
adobe.com" or whatever. . .
That thing at the MM plugins page *tells* the user to go to shockwave.
People follow instructions. Yes this is very clever.
I was wondering how much it would cost me to have it say "When you are
finished go to designthenet.com"
I bet after one week of my text ad there I could hire me a new highend CEO
from Pixar ;)
I probably wouldn't be able to afford the spot though . . . just curious how
much it would cost. I bet shockwave.com is locked into that spot for life :)

P.S. I will drop this rant now . . . I hope I don't have the last word on
this though.
