I put a preloader on anything over 200K. Many people may think this is a
little small for a preloader but you won't go skipping along in any of my
movies. A little extra wait, usually only a few second, ensures that the
loading stays ahead of the movie. Just my personal preference. Also
remember, if you have background music, and you start is at the beginning,
you need a preloader to ensure the sound file complete loads before the
movie gets to the sound start. If you don't have one, then the music will
only play on computers that have cached your movie, and they won't see it
the first time around. Hope this helps. Eric Stewart

hello everybody

could anyone please suggest me something about this
i've created a website in flash for a client which is almost over. its a
non-linear presentation with nine different swf files linked eachother. the
overall file size of the presentation is 370 kb. so i want to know while in
the browser without giving the preloader, does it run through streaming or
should i give the preloader untill the whole files are loaded.
