I wouldn't mess with them, they have a habit of throwing laywers at a
problem... Nasty stuff.

I have done a 3D panorama viewer in Director.
Take a look at demos at
http://www.theburrow.co.uk/t3dtesters/general/resource.htm and scroll down
to the world demos (there are 7 or so). You can create these in Director by
simply using my engine plus source I supply, although you obviously have to
create the images yourself (if I can create them, I'd be opening myself up
to laywers from the afore-mentioned 'friendly' IPIX.

It's not really what you asked for, but it's free, and much more flexible :)
