Hmm, understood. Maybe a way to help make the client happy then might be to
remind them that Java is plugin now... it isn't a part of all browsers
anymore, and the download is much larger than some other extended web
abilities. (There are also versioning issues with Java, but keep that big
gun in reserve.... ;-)

I don't have a direct link to a news item... the change happened about a
year ago, and I imagine c|net and other sources had stories on the "Java
now a plugin" angle... could this give you a little bit of dancing room
when talking with that client...?
