This is what you can do by simply using the "Flash 4 with Image" or "Ad
Banner" HTML templates from Flash's Publish Settings. You don't have to do
any custom code.

All you have to do is select one of these templates in the Publish Settings,
select "GIF" or "JPEG" in the Formats tab, and hit "Publish". It's all done
for you, automatically.

Apologies if this answer is too simplistic, but I saw your post and wondered
why you weren't using this method?

Let me/us know if this is the answer, or if you need a better solution.
