Hi Michael,

 When you tween an item there are two buttons Tween Rotation & Tween

Scaling. You should only leave these boxes checked if your tween

involves rotation or scaling. A Color tween that involves no motion

should have both boxes unchecked. A Motion tween that neither rotates or

changes size should also have both boxes unchecked. If you leave either

box checked when not needed Flash2 calculates these parameters even if

not needed and its rounding off of these calculations may result in

unwanted movement.
