Let me step through this slowly...

This means that there is no need to supply numerical x and y values in
the HTML? I had no idea one could use percentages in the EMBED and OBJECT
tag WIDTH/HEIGHT parameters. If this is true then then is cool.

Does "space on the sides" imply that elements which were "cropped" by the
movie dimension in the authoring environment show up in the...

Wait! You MUST use exact numbers in the EMBED or OBJECT tags. I suddenly
thought about my "Night in Nijinsky" piece at www.kintespace.com. In that
animation I use a symbol that is much larger than the movie frame. I
never had any "space on the sides" problems with "Nijinsky" because I never
tested this piece WITHOUT HTML tags giving the EXACT dimensions.

I'm sure I "discovered" this cropping problem when I picked up a .SWF test
file and just threw it in a Netscape browser window. No tags; no nothin'.

NEW RULE (?): never test a Flash animation without using the appropriate
tags because bad things will happen!

If any Flasher finds exceptions to the above rule please let me know!
