Seems to me that putting actions IN buttons doesn't work. You want to only
put actions in frames or in button INSTANCES. Of course this means EACH
instance needs the "action" tab set up--but to get around that just make a
movie clip (with your buttons and actions) and use that movie clip like a
super-sophisticated button. This is how I've always done "toggle" buttons.

Get it? I guess I could post an example.

I'm new to this list--can someone tell me how people normally post files to
share?
