See if this works. I tried to put it in as easy of terms as possible.


First off make the text a symbol..and the cloud a symbol.

then , assuming you are only using a piece of text and a cloud, do the

following:


The Basics:


Make your first layer the text.

The second layer the cloud.

(so that the text is "over" the cloud)


Place the text in the center of your screen.(for demo purposes)(also make

the text the same color as your background)

Place your cloud off to the left of your screen.

Then, makin sure that your cloud layer is selected, copy the first frame of

your cloud frame to the 20th frame. (or right click the 20th frame). 

Now with the 20th frame selected, select the cloud on the screen,

click,hold and drag it to the right side of your screen.

Afterwards double-click on the first frame of your cloud layer and and

Motion Tween it. (you can play with the motion tween settings later). Click

ok.


Now test drive your animation using Test Movie or hit enter with the first

frame selected.

Thats it.
