I am reading alot of complaints about Newbie
questions.
I don't understand what everyone is complaining
about obviously some people get a little confused with how Macromedia has
written some of their help and tutorial information.
Don't get me wrong I do agree with whomever that if you don't
understand try your best to find the answer through the manual or tutorials that
are provided. But just like any other program that is out there the person
that writes the help file has most likely used the programe extensively and
forgets what it's like to be somebody faced with a strange, exciting and new
programe in front of them, that can sometimes be overwhelming to say the
least.
I have been using this programe for about 1 year now and I
have a strong grasp of the basics intermediate and advanced features, and
sometimes I have to go back to the manual or tutorials because some of the most
simplest things become so unimportant that they are forgotten. So my point here
is that sometimes we need to have a little patience and help people even if the
question is so simple that you and I could explain it to a 10 year old that
would get it. So in closing we all started somewhere and maybe some people
advance faster than others, but that doesn't mean that we are better in any way.
You never know one of them could be the next Eye4u or Matinee
genius.
And someday they could be explaining to us how to performe
some mind blowing effect.
Anyways I don't want to start a Listserv war I just feel that
everybody deserves to learn not matter what the circumstance.
Have a good weekend everyone.
