Totally agree Nigel. This was a stumbling block even back in the days when I
was using Director 4.04,Authorware 3.0 and FutureSplash Animator. Flash is a
total paradigm shift especially Director.
On the surface they look very similar,but once you dig in...
I still find myself wanting to revert to Director at times,but this has
gotten easier as time has gone by.
I believe all the tools have there place and the object is not to realize
the limitations,but to push those limitations as far as you can and achieve
what you thought was impossible. Isn't that thrill of design & development?
I know it is for me.
