Thanks Matt, that explains it. I was doing that not realizing that the movie
background size WAS changing, I had layers covering it up and didn't think
it was working.

Modify -> Movie
Change dimensions to your liking
However, movie is vector based, so the only way movie size is important
is
for aspect ratio. In other words, you can build your movie at whatever
size you want provided it has the same aspect ratio as you would like
the
target movie to have. A flash movie is totally scalable.
