No, you're right...the HTML part couldn't be done in Director either...but
the buttons (with no redundancy could)

... you're points about looking for solutions instead of limits is totally
true--but let's not be blind either. You have to know the limits to figure
out ways around it. Maybe this can be a good thread--"Solution to X
found"--any time someone finds a solution.

There's probably a million ways to do it... but one of my points was it gets
pretty "hard wired" fast. Namely, you won't just have 3 buttons each with
their own actions... but many more (1 to 2 AND 3 to 2, etc.) If I'm missing
something, I'd love to see the solution.

Someone else mentioned the point was to figure out ways to use the tool...
within the scope of the tool. I agree. I'm not trying to harp on how I
think Flash is crappy--not at all! I like it. I just think it's good to
understand a tool's limits--realize if you want to do something REALLY
interactive you'll need JavaScript (or another tool). Tell target lets you
do things which are truly interactive--but there's a limit.

I looked at it, that seems to be a good solution--but when you want to "add
10" you have TEN tell target actions in a row.

Maybe as a truce let me suggest that this thread is changed to "Hey
everyone, look what I figured out... here's something I previously thought
was impossible in Flash".

How does this sound?
