You can convert an AVI movie to a Bitmap (BMP) sequence with Adobe

Premiere.

Make > Make Movie > Output Options > as (Bitmap sequence).


You certainly don't want to use jpeg as that would result in compressing

3 times with lossy compression if you use the standard jpeg output from

Flash.


Flash 3 is not an ideal format for long bitmap presentations.
