Tried that. As much as -24 dB. No red peaks. Same darn thing.

Tried that too using the system sound control panel. Same thing.


Are there any SoundEdit effects that might help?  It's a distortion thing

on high peaks.

This is a PowerCC 225 Mac. Internal CD.  Recording @ 44 kHz


I've recorded stuff this way before, w/no prob.

Maybe it's a bad CD James?  Plays fine through the computer though .

Sade, Kiss of Life.  What a cool Flash movie this makes.  All that hypnotic

imagery.  She won't stand a chance. ;)  BTW guys, I highly recommend Best

of Sade for a memorable evening.  One of the most romantic albums ever

made.  ;)  This and a little Chardonney really gets mine in the mood.  :)
