There are quite a few.

Of course.

If it works then you need not change anything, but as you do more
advanced things with Flash you will find there are some things that
don't work with Scenes. For instance, Movie Clips and Streaming Sound
don't work across Scene boundaries, both are reset to their first frame
when placed in a new scene.

I think the most important part of the Scenes segment in the Flash
documentation is the last part "To delete a scene". Just my 2 cents.
