FLASH: So many questions for a beginner

Dear all,

I am one week old in using flash. For more than one year i ve been using

Director for promotional CDs but only html and javascript for Web pages.

1- what  is the best book to lear Flash3?

2-Is there any programming in Flash, like lingo in Director?

3-How can i create a roll over effect on a customized button?

4-Is there a way to pause a transisition
