You can use Flash 2 (flash3 saved down to v2, if you like) thru the Sprite
Icon. In a few months (maybe less) the next dot release of AW5 is coming
out and it will have the Sprite Icon that will play Flash 3. As a
workaround now, you can use the ActiveX control to play Flash 3. You can do
pretty much everything except acheive transparancy thru your animation to
your authorware piece, in other words all of your flash 3 movies will play
in a rectangle. ActiveX performance is real good.

There is an excellent article at the Flash Dev center on using Flash with
ActiveX and it even features how to do it with Authorware. There are
definitely issues with this approach - the user must have the control or
internet access to get it (or pay the licensing fee to distribute it).
