Here's my rant:

>From what I've seen so far (granted, after only 20 minutes of playing with
it), it seems to really suck! All the effects (such as beveling) cause that
image to be exported as a bitmap! Plain text and shapes are vectors, but try
to do anything with them and you suddenly have a 22k swf with three objects!
And that's without animation--speaking of which, I cannot figure out how to
do. Has anyone had any success? When I change keyframes and alter an image,
it changes it across the entire timeline, and though I can check "effects"
and the various transform options, they don't let you choose any properties,
and they don't seem to do ANYTHING.

Also, what the hell is the HTML tool? You draw a text box, use HTML markup,
and what does it display? Exactly that! It doesn't even parse the HTML. What
use is this? Why do they even call it an "HTML Text Tool"?

Sorry, maybe I just don't know the interface. I'm sure we would all
appreciate it if anyone who knows After Effects or has figured anything out
would clue the rest of us in. Maybe even post some work done in it?
