Vecta SA won't do shading on imported objects,
only extrudes. The 3ds version won't do any
shading at all, just skinny little 'hilights' for
any kind of depth/lighting cue. Swift3d (from the
adverts, hope its true;-) does gradient shading
on imported objects. The interface shows a tool
more like a true 3d app. that happens to render
to swf rather than video.
