Assuming you have your E-mail set to HTML format, and the link to your file
is one on a server on the web then it should work, try sending yourself a
mail to see what happens.

It's ages since I've done this, so I'll go away, have a play & try and see
why it isn't working for you.

++ friendly piece of "stationary" such as that provided by outlook.
