Have you set the variable = "Jim"?
Because u want it to be a string, right?

Than u can get that string to your text field.

Hi,

I have the following problem.

In scene1 i have an MC with an instance name 'get'.
Inside this MC i have a button that sets a variable name=jim.

In scene 2 i have a text field on the main timeline that i want the
word
'jim' to appear in.

I seem to be having a problem referencing this variable from scene2.

Can anyone help?
