Ha Ha! I know the answer to this one now! It's actually quite easy.
Enter your desired text. Break it apart (Modify/Break Apart). Select
the Ink Bottle Tool, choose your outline colour and line density, and go
to work outlining.
(I had the same question a few days ago ;-)
