Like I said, I don't know that Macromedia has a repository of all the
versions, on all the platforms, in all the various formats. If you go look
at the "Need Another Web Player" pages in the download center you'll see
that there is more than just "Mac" and "Win".

There was no judgment expressed there about whether it "made sense" to
invest in making such an archive, just that there isn't one. The above
recommendations for achieving the main sets of goals people attempt to
satisfy when making such a request still stands.
