hi,

are your circles either groups or symbols? Because if they aren't then
maybe when you are resizing them you're not selecting the entire thing,
even though it seems like you are...? I've done that, where I drag a box
around an item, and by accident chop off a little peice, but don't
notice it until I resize the item or something.
Just a thought...:]
