Tony,

You could do it with this...

Set Property ("follow mc", X Position) = getProperty("original mc",_x) -
xOffset

... and do the Y Position the same way. For example, if you wanted to
drag
a movie clip and have another one follow it with a little offset, you could
set one mc to drag upon mouse press and also set up the follow mc to enter
a loop when the original mc is dragged. In this loop you could repeatedly
monitor the original mc's position and do the above script to edit the
follow mc's position. Is this what you were looking for? Hope that
