I believe you are right. It is a preference of who is designing the site.

i happen to work with Mike and am privy to the fact that one of the most
downloaded resources from the flashgen site are the fullscreen browser trick
and the quit fullscreen browser tutorials, ironic really. I geuse its like
marmite, you either loe it or you hate it.

and before you all go bitching about my site. it goes full screen, and it
does'nt ask. I like it that way.
