Hi,

I'm curious why you want a java applet for detection/redirect. Is this more reliable
for plug-in detection than the 'common' methods? At first I wanted to scream "NO!" to
using an applet for this, but then thought you might know something...

Anyway, there are many detection methods that can be done with Flash detecting Flash,
javascript,... If it doesn't have to be an applet, check out
http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/index.html. If it does need to be an applet,
please let us know why.
