Boring preloaders are a NO-NO in my book. Your preloader lacks
entertainment value, repeats cycling for the entire minute that it
takes your site to load via 56k modem, and *then* it just keeps
sitting there till I figure out that it's actually *done*, and that
I'm supposed to "do something now".
Based on the vast popularity of boring preloaders out there, and most
people's unwillingness to create *entertaining* preloaders, I believe
that one way you can distinguish yourself is to master *creative*
preloader design and construction ... your future customers and
viewers will certainly appreciate the difference!
(The point being that it is "common knowledge" that if the viewer is
not "entertained" within the first 8 seconds of arriving at a site,
he/she is 50% likely to *leave*, and the probability goes up as the
seconds pass.)
