well, for mouseovers you could check the position of the mouse
(a movieclip being dragged by the mouse) and set up something like:

if ((mousex >= 300) AND (mousex <= 320) AND (mousey >= 200) AND (mousey <=
220)
set property visibility blablah
End if

that's one way.
Any better ones' ?
