Not sure what you mean by "duplication" - you mean simply how to copy your
motion path to use elsewhere? It is a graphical object, so you can copy it
by clicking & copying it, or by copying the frame on which it exists. You
can copy it by highlighting it and hitting F8 to make it a symbol so you can
use it elsewhere but then you wouldn't be able to edit it OR use it as a
motion guide unless you break it back apart.

Somehow, I don't think this is what you were asking, though....
