Subject: FLASH: Resolution by Site check
From: AndrewScratch

Hi all,

I have a friend who fancies himself a designer (he minored in graphic design
as an undergrad) and insists that an idea I have for a new Flash site I am
creating (my first) is not effective.

I, myself, have no formal education in design and it is hard for me to argue
with this friend without being dismissed by him, so I would like some outside
opinions.

The contention is here:
I created some menus that are fashioned to look like 3D (more or less)
retro-futuristic computer monitor screens, to go with the whole campy
starship-esque theme of the site (see the working green right side buttons:
"Educational Products", "Policies", "Lot Documents" and "Images"...sorry, the
site is in development )

http://gfx-design.com/abrown/ATX/default.html

The menus also (I think) pull the design together because the same screens
are featured in the intro of the site

(if you would like to see: http://gfx-design.com/abrown/ATX/intro.html)

If you can give me some feedback either pro or con as to whether these menus
work in the context of the site, I would appreciate it. He won't listen to
me, and, for all I know, I may be missing something.

Andrew
