Hello David., I didn't catch your post a few days ago., very interesting
approach you are talking about here.
would it work in Netscape???
----use and FS Command to trigger a JavaScript hide
---layer function, and presto.........
can you clarify if please.
Thank you
Ilia

-Did you catch my post a few days ago about using a Flash preloader for an
-HTML page? Use an intro that is in a DHTML layer above the rest of the
HTML.
--When the intro is finished, use and FS Command to trigger a JavaScript
hide
-layer function, and presto! Preloaded HTML page! I think this is a really
-cool idea for a graphics heavy page--say, with lots of high res photos.

-I was even thinking about how a hybrid site could use this for navigation.
-Instead of a popup window for HTML content, hide the movie and display the
-page. Include a button for a "Menu," which would show the layer again.

-For multiple HTML pages, again, use layers to load them all into one page.
-It might be a bit load heavy, but if the Flash movie is long enough anyway,
-this could definitely work.

-Has anyone done anything like this? It could be the ultimate in cool site
-engineering!
