Quintin.

I do think people have given you this answer already, but in case you have
missed it, here it is.

Set a variable whenever anything is dropped into the box. Then on all the
"drag" actions, check for that variable. If it is already set, then that
means something is already in the box. At that point, set property x and y
of the mc you are dragging back to what they were in the beginning. This
will snap it back to its original spot.
