THANKS to all who have responded to my original post.

If you (respondees) haven't heard from me *personally* by Tuesday,
please email me personally again. I may have missed an email or two
...

My goal is to spread basic understanding of "how to think in terms of
programming", and, then, to apply that understanding to ActionScript.

Because I have received so many responses (approaching 40), I may
well decide to (1) do a "small/tight/intensive" "experiment" ( =
*much* learning for me, about "how best to 'teach'"), with a very few
hand-selected folks, AND THEN (within 2 or 3 weeks, hopefully) (2)
have "something" set up that I'm *confident about* **for others** ...

NO ONE will be "left out" of this!

HTH,

Ken Sherwood

p.s. Interesting stats:

My respondees break down this way, approximately:

50% "Lurkers" -- BTW, just FYI, to "lurk" has NO negative
connotations in the World of the Web! It is even often regarded as a
"courtesy" (extended toward a list or newsgroup that you've just
joined), to "lurk" for some time, before "diving in" and posting ...
to "get a 'scope" of the 'territory', first.

25% "Minimal posters" -- have posted about 1-3 times to the list.

25% *Newbie posters" -- prolific, yet generally rather new to the
list, at least for the most part.

VERY HAPPY to have this particular breakdown amongst "interested
folks"! :-) THANKS.
