testing scene/movie

one of the nicer features of flash is the way the canvas extends outside 

itself on scaling. it can create some great effects. However, sometimes 

it is detrimental to the piece. when you use F3's test scene/movie you 

are not able to control the hiding of the outer canvas. unless i am 

missing something (how cool would that be??). is this something that 

could be dealt with??
