Subject: Exporting to SWF Bug?
From: PeaceFire Maji

Hello all. I've been reading the list for many months now, but this is
my first post (y'know, first time caller, long time listener deal).

I am currently having problems exporting a SWF. I get an out of memory
error. Sounds simple, give Flash more memory. Well, even with 24mgs
given to it, it still gives this error. Looking at the memory that Flash
uses, it is only using a small portion of this. I'm running on a Mac
clone PowerTowerPro 225 with OS8. I had this error in the Beta release
of Flash and just downloaded the 30 day trial and am still getting this.
My disk cache is 128k, virtual memory is off, RAM disk disabled, have
more than 100mg free on my hard drive.

I know that sometimes in Director that a cast member being corrupted
will cause Director to say the same thing when exporting a shocked
movie. But what about Flash?

The Flash file is around 100k, the SWF I would assume is around 50k
(haven't exported it lately-obviously!). There is no content at this
point that hasn't been created in Flash except for one imported
Illustrator file (which has been in the movie since the beginning, ie
when it was exporting.

I hope that someone could offer suggestions or know about this bug, if
it is a bug...

Thanks SO much for any input...

peacefire maji,
vision style
