Phil Suh reports that Macromedia Flash screen-draw problems on his blue
G3s disappeared when he replaced the shipping ATI drivers with the
drivers included in Apple's OpenGL beta:
"We can confirm here that the screen artifacts problem in Flash 3 on
Blue G3's seem to be fixed by installing the OpenGL beta software
mentioned a couple days ago. The beta software expires June 1, so
hopefully by then a permanent update will be available. But this is much
better than restarting with the ATI extensions off whenever we work in
Flash."

OS 8.6 should be released this week or very early next week. Rumor
has it that it will be released for Apple's Developer conference.
